Band 7 Senior Integration Programmer

In this role you will design, develop and support secure integrations between clinical and corporate systems, using standards like HL7 and FHIR. You will lead technical delivery on integration projects, mentor colleagues and shape best practices within the IT Services Integration Team. You’ll work with modern data formats and services (XML, JSON, REST) to ensure reliable information exchange that supports patient care and safer hospital operations. • Design, develop, test and support integrations enabling secure data exchange across systems
• Create integration solutions using Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR, REST, XML and JSON
• Lead delivery on integration projects ensuring robustness and best practices
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain high service availability
• Create and execute test plans, support releases and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Provide technical leadership, peer review and mentor team members
• Contribute to development of standards, processes and documentation

• Strong development and integration skills including JavaScript, SQL and XML/JSON
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage priorities, work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts to diverse audiences
