Float Universal Banker
About the Position
Bank of Springfield is seeking a customer-focused Float Universal Banker to provide coverage across our Quincy branch locations as needed. This position will be housed out of our Quincy Maine location, with travel to our Quincy 48th branch to provide coverage as needed. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, process transactions, assist with account openings, and identify opportunities to meet customers’ financial needs while supporting consistent branch operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide accurate, timely, and courteous service.
Process monetary transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, and processing loan and credit card payments.
Balance transactions and maintain accurate records.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests, providing appropriate assistance and solutions.
Prepare and process customer applications and documentation to open new accounts.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to promote goodwill and identify additional banking needs.
Promote and cross-sell Bank of Springfield products and services.
Travel to the Quincy 48th branch to provide coverage as needed.
Adapt to branch needs while maintaining consistent service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
~ High school diploma or equivalent required.
~1–3 years of previous banking experience, including knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures.
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
~ Excellent problem-solving, communication, customer service, follow-up, and organizational skills.
~ Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
~ Flexibility to travel between the Quincy Maine and Quincy 48th branch locations as business needs require.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $18.00–$20.00 per hour

, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, compensation may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
