The person in this role should have a passion for serving our membership, our communities, and delivering upon our Purpose, “We exist to teach one another to prosper.” Build and grow relationships with members by asking questions to learn about their financial needs, understanding their goals, and sharing how Westerra can help them by following up through proactive outreach, phone or in-person visits
Maintains knowledge of products and services and educates members on emerging technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online, ATM and other offerings.
Represents Westerra at community and business development events
Consistently demonstrates the Westerra Way Experience and complies with all policies, procedures and Federal and State laws and regulations.
Obtains and maintains notary public certification within six months of employment (if not already certified) to perform notarial acts such as verifying signatures, administering oaths, and certifying document
1+ years customer service experience required
~ Cash handling experience required
~ Ability to understand and respond to member needs, as well as consistently make recommendations to members on Westerra products that will fit their financial needs/goals/values
Can navigate with ease and efficiency through key Westerra Systems/Sites
Accountable for basic short-term tasks and work is primarily routine and follows standard procedures
Uses basic judgement under close supervision or instruction
Understanding of procedures for basic technical, administrative, or operative tasks
Ability to travel to assigned branch locations, which on rare occasion could include multiple locations in one day
Mon-Fri: On location in the branch (Saturdays on rotation)
Salary

: in addition to the starting rate of $21.00 per hour, this role is also eligible for annual bonus potential tied to Westerra’s financial performance.
