Leading National Law Firm | Banking & Finance

An excellent opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate to join a highly regarded national law firm in Charlotte.

The team advises lenders, borrowers and financial institutions across a broad range of sophisticated financing transactions, including commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance and structured finance.

The Role

• Advising lenders and borrowers on a range of banking and finance transactions
• Supporting commercial lending, acquisition finance and leveraged finance matters
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, credit agreements and related financing documentation
• Assisting with secured and unsecured lending transactions
• Conducting due diligence and supporting transaction structuring and execution
• Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel and other advisers throughout the transaction process
• Taking responsibility for discrete workstreams and managing multiple transactions simultaneously
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's wider corporate and finance practices

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years' experience in banking, finance or related transactional practices
• Experience with commercial lending, credit facilities or other debt financing transactions
• Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers preferred
• Experience in banking and finance, commercial lending, leveraged finance, fund finance, structured finance or related debt financing transactions will be considered. xhqgsiq
• Strong drafting, negotiation and transactional skills
• Experience at a leading national or international firm preferred, although strong candidates from regional or mid-sized practices will also be considered
• Comfortable managing competing deadlines and taking ownership of matters
• Commercially minded, organised and able to work effectively within a team
• Strong academic and professional credentials
• North Carolina Bar admission preferred
