Battery Energy Storage Solutions Engineer

Battery degradation modeling and utility-scale energy storage expertise define this remote Technical Solutions Engineer role across Canada or the USA.

At e-STORAGE, this engineer supports battery product development and customized energy storage solutions. The work spans LFP cells, DC Blocks, ESS integration, system models, and performance strategy. Collaboration includes R&D, procurement, product management, engineering, and global partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate battery cells, components, specifications, certifications, and test results
• Develop degradation models, capacity tools, and throughput analysis
• Support design validation, interface definition, and system sizing
• Prepare documentation for Independent Engineer and customer reviews
• Feed degradation insights into product and design decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or related discipline
• At least five years in battery or related engineering industries
• Strong knowledge of LFP cells, DC Blocks, and ESS
• Familiarity with UL, IEEE, IEC, and battery standards
• Availability for international travel up to fifteen percent
