BI / Analytics Engineer

Mission: Turn governed data into trusted analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting for the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain semantic/reporting layers, curated data marts, and reusable metric definitions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in the organization's BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma).
• Partner with business analysts and domain SMEs to translate requirements into consistent, well-defined metrics.
• Establish a single source of truth for business definitions and enforce data-quality standards in reporting.
• Enable self-service by building certified datasets, documentation, and light-touch training for business users.
• Monitor dashboard performance and usage, retiring stale content and optimizing high-traffic reports.
• 3+ years in BI/analytics engineering
• Strong SQL and data-visualization skills
• Hands-on experience with a major BI platform and dimensional modelling
• Experience with dbt or a semantic-layer tool a plus
• SQL, data visualization, semantic/metric modelling, BI platform expertise, requirements gathering, data storytelling.

This role operates under a hybrid work model and requires employees to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
