Overview

As a BI Developer you will drive the reporting layer from existing data sources and prepare data in Databricks to feed Power BI dashboards. You will build end-to-end dashboards across multiple use cases, collaborate with stakeholders on design and requirements, and deliver a mix of data engineering and BI development. You’ll own three core dashboards and engage with the client to provide updates, while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create a usable reporting layer from existing data sources
  • Use Databricks to prepare data for Power BI
  • Build end-to-end Power BI dashboards across multiple use cases
  • Support wireframing and dashboard design with stakeholders
  • Deliver ~20-40% data engineering work and the rest Power BI development
  • Build and maintain three core dashboards across the project
  • Engage with the client to gather requirements and provide updates
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and manage development work independently
Key requirements
  • Strong Power BI experience with dashboard development and data modeling
  • Experience with Databricks for reporting and analytics
  • Strong SQL or Python skills
  • Experience on greenfield or early-stage reporting projects
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear dashboards
  • Client-facing stakeholder management experience
