Overview

In this BI Developer role, you will build and optimise data reporting and dashboards to empower decision-making across the business. You’ll partner with engineering and data teams to deliver accessible, performant BI solutions and data visualisations. You will shape how data is shared, governed and used to support colleagues, members and customers. This opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge BI tools and a mission-driven, member-owned organisation that values impact and collaboration. You will play a key role in democratising information and driving data-informed decisions across the Co-op.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and deliver insights
  • Design, develop, test, and optimise BI solutions prioritising accessibility and performance
  • Work with data engineers to acquire, cleanse, and manage data from multiple sources
  • Build reporting layer tables in Databricks
  • Design and deploy AI-enabled data interfaces to democratise information
  • Develop impactful data visualisations tailored to users
  • Work cross-functionally with data, governance, and technology teams
  • Ensure products meet data governance, quality, and accessibility standards
Key requirements
  • Experience with data models, reports, and dashboards across web and mobile
  • Strong Power BI or Strategy experience and data visualisation expertise
  • Experience with MS Azure Cloud data platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks)
  • Strong SQL skills with SQL Server Management Studio or equivalent
  • Experience on data warehouse projects and understanding of data modelling
  • Ability to scope requirements, wireframe solutions, and communicate with business partners
  • Confidence to influence across all levels and willingness to learn new technologies
