BI Lead Engineer / SQL DBA, SSIS, SSRS, Operations

As a BI Lead Engineer, you will design and support global Power BI solutions to enable Operations and finance. You will own ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS/SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric, ensuring high availability for 24/7 operations. You’ll lead a data team and drive finance system migration and integration projects across the enterprise. This role blends hands-on technical work with strategic leadership in a global environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data insights. You will shape the approach to enterprise finance data and upskill the team on modern BI platforms.

• Develop and support Power BI solutions for global Operations
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS/SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric
• Ensure high uptime and service excellence for mission-critical systems
• Lead and grow a high-performing data team
• Support enterprise global finance system implementations and migrations
• Sponsor and oversee legacy finance system migration into multiple finance systems and Microsoft Fabric

• Strong Power BI experience (Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service)
• Hands-on SQL database design and DBA administration
• Schema development and data modelling
• Proficient SQL scripting, stored procedures, query optimisation, and performance tuning
• Experience leading data teams in a global organisation
• Experience with finance system implementations and migrations, especially into Microsoft Fabric
