BI Platform Operations Engineer

Operate enterprise BI platforms with Tableau Server, Amazon QuickSight, and AWS services from Toronto or New York City in a hybrid model.

Adastra seeks a hands-on BI Platform Operations Engineer for production support and platform engineering. You will administer Tableau Server and QuickSight, troubleshoot APIs, data services, authentication, permissions, and cloud infrastructure. The work supports reliable production service rather than dashboard development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily production support across BI platforms and AWS services
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, workloads, and service health
• Investigate incidents, failed jobs, connectivity, access, API, and platform errors
• Perform root-cause analysis with engineering, data, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, monitoring, and operational automation

Requirements:

• Hands-on enterprise BI production support experience
• Strong Tableau Server administration and operational support experience
• Strong Amazon QuickSight administration, authoring, and production support experience
• Experience with AWS IAM, CloudWatch, Athena, Glue, and Lake Formation
• Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, or similar automation experience
