Bilingual Collections Resolution Specialist

French-English collections expertise drives this full-time Resolution Specialist contract in Toronto or Montreal, managing arrears through investigation, administration, and timely resolution.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Collections, you will handle delinquent accounts within an assigned portfolio. The position focuses on company-policy compliance, client budgeting support, fees, mortgage-related balances, and arrears settlements. Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills support effective decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate delinquent accounts within assigned portfolios
• Administer collections and minimize monetary loss exposure
• Assist clients with budgeting and delinquency planning
• Review bankruptcies and consumer proposals
• Collect common expenses, liens, taxes, and utility arrears

Requirements:

• French and English bilingualism required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• MS Office competency and technology-learning capacity
• Availability for required shift work
