Bilingual Network Operations Analyst

Support a 24/7/365 Network Operations Centre in Ottawa using networking knowledge and bilingual communication skills. Respond to incidents through established monitoring processes.

We are hiring a Bilingual Network Operations Center Analyst for our Ottawa team. The NOC uses trained and certified resources, sophisticated monitoring tools, and processes aligned with ITIL best practices. Analysts respond to automatically generated incident tickets, troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, or escalate them to the appropriate group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor incidents within a 24/7/365 Network Operations Centre
• Respond to automatically generated incident tickets
• Troubleshoot network incidents using monitoring tools
• Resolve incidents or escalate them appropriately

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent with two-plus years in IT or networking
• Secret Clearance from the Canadian Federal Government
• Familiarity with basic networking protocols and technologies
• Understanding of IP addressing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Communication skills in both English and French
