Bilingual Senior Solutions Architect

Overview

We are seeking a senior solution architect with 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and at least 5 years in a architecture role. The role requires fluent French and English (spoken and written) and a strong understanding of financial services regulations, data privacy and cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and design of complex enterprise solutions for financial services products, including insurance, group benefits and pension systems.
  • Collaborate with French‑speaking business units to translate requirements into architectural blueprints.
  • Design secure, scalable, high‑performing technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory frameworks such as PSD2 and GDPR.
  • Define and maintain the infrastructure technology roadmap, incorporating emerging trends and best practices.
  • Design cloud‑based, on‑premises and hybrid IT infrastructure solutions that enhance agility, security and scalability.
  • Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components across multiple platforms (networking, compute, storage, security).
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce infrastructure security policies, compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with IT leadership, development teams and business stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with organizational goals.
  • Assess and optimize infrastructure performance, reliability and cost‑efficiency.
  • Engage vendors, evaluate solutions and manage third‑party partnerships.
  • Maintain detailed architectural documentation, best practices and design standards.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an architecture role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written) and able to lead meetings and workshops in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, data privacy and cybersecurity standards.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, able to present technical solutions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

  • Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Microservices, APIs and integration patterns
  • Corporate applications: CRM, ERP platforms
  • DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Identity & access management: IAM, SSO, Active Directory

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS, Azure or GCP Solution Architect
  • TOGAF
  • ITIL

Compensation

Base salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually, plus variable components such as annual bonus or commission as determined by local market conditions and individual qualifications.
