Biostatistics Machine Learning Professor

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in statistics, biostatistics, or machine learning. Successful candidates will establish a proven research profile, teach undergraduate and graduate students, and supervise graduate students. The university’s bilingual environment requires functioning and teaching in English and French by tenure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop research in statistics, biostatistics, or machine learning
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Supervise graduate students
• Teach in both official languages by tenure

Requirements:

• Doctorate or equivalent in statistics or related discipline
• Demonstrated excellence in research
• Capacity to teach across undergraduate and graduate levels
• Ability and desire to supervise graduate students
• French teaching experience may receive preference
