Overview

In this role you will define and own the canonical telco data model and ontology across network topology, service lifecycle, inventory, and OSS domains. You will align data models with industry standards and drive their adoption across product teams to support AI training and digital twin deployments. You will shape the data fabric and cloud-native architecture, including data pipelines, metadata, and lineage, enabling scalable, microservices-based implementations. You will translate the data-architecture vision into practical solutions, while engaging customers and industry forums to validate and position the portfolio in the market. Responsibilities
  • Define and own telco data model and ontology across domains
  • Align data models with TM Forum Open APIs, SID/eTOM, Open Digital Architecture, YANG/NETCONF, and TOSCA
  • Advance ontology as semantic foundation for data exchange, AI training, and digital twin
  • Develop and lead data fabric architecture including federated access, streaming pipelines, virtualization, metadata management, and lineage
  • Translate architecture vision into cloud-native, microservices-based implementations with engineering teams
  • Define and deliver telco digital twin strategy with use cases like network optimization and predictive maintenance
  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry forums to validate solutions and influence standards
Key requirements
  • 15+ years in telecom software
  • 5+ years product line management experience
  • Experience with telecom data modeling, schema design, graph/ontology structures, and enterprise data tools
  • AI/ML data requirements including feature stores, data pipelines, data lineage, and model grounding for GenAI/LLM
  • Background in OSS environments (automation, orchestration, inventory, assurance, NMS)
  • Exposure to fixed/mobile/RAN and core/transport/access domains
  • Experience introducing complex products/architectures into Tier-1 CSPs or network providers
