Are You an Experienced BMS Support Engineer Looking for Your Next Challenge? Our client is seeking a skilled and customer-focused BMS Support Engineer to join their Southern Region team. Based on a prestigious customer site in Berkshire , you'll play a key role in maintaining, supporting and optimising critical Building Management Systems.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and building strong customer relationships while working with a range of industry-leading BMS technologies.
 
The Role As a BMS Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building control systems, delivering a high standard of service, and providing technical support to site stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on Building Management Systems in line with customer service agreements.
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues to maximise system performance and reliability.
• Complete minor repairs, modifications and remedial works.
• Conduct routine inspections of BMS equipment and associated controls.
• Respond to service calls and provide technical support during system failures and breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and customer interactions.
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
• Build strong working relationships with on-site stakeholders and end users.

What We're Looking For Essential Experience & Skills

• Experience within the Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) industry.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across building control systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical plant and building services.
• Experience working with Trend and IQ Vision systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Comfortable working independently within a static-site environment.
• Good IT and PC software skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Exposure to other BMS platforms such as Siemens , Tridium and Schneider EcoStruxure .
• Experience supporting complex commercial or critical building environments.
• Additional manufacturer training or certifications.
