Bookkeeper

Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC — In Person

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will have strong accounts payable and bookkeeping experience and must be highly proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365) . This position requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365)
• Liaise with vendors to resolve invoice, payment, and purchase order discrepancies
• Maintain accurate new and existing vendor information
• Prepare semi-monthly cheque/payment runs for multiple companies
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Prepare retention/holdback cheques as required
• Record and process bank deposits
• Maintain accurate and complete supporting documentation
• Assist with account reconciliations and other bookkeeping activities as required
• Support the finance team with ad hoc projects and other duties as they arise

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience preferred
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors and colleagues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, professional attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities

Work Location

• Applicants must have practical experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC365). Candidates without Business Central experience may not be considered.
