Robert Half is partnering with an organization in Kanata to hire a full-time, permanent Bookkeeper for an on-site role.

Compensation and benefits

• Salary: $75,000-$80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including supplier payments, customer receipts, deposits, and daily financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts, maintaining supporting documentation.
• Administer payroll and assist with remittances and statutory submissions.
• Prepare and track purchase orders and assign costs to projects, departments, or inventory locations.
• Resolve supplier questions and billing issues, and maintain vendor, product, and pricing information.
• Support inventory record reviews and monitor job costing, preparing variance reports.
• Generate customer invoices, record payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with construction, service, sales, yard or shop, store, and administration teams to maintain accurate financial records.
