Job Description:

House of Wong restaurant is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, account reconciliation, tax filings, and maintaining financial records using both manual and computerized systems. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and long-term employment.

Location: 110 Water st suite POBOX 39 Conway, NS B0V 1A0

Salary: $31.00/hour for 30 hours weekly

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
