Bookkeeper Cloud Accounting Technician

Use cloud accounting and full cycle bookkeeping skills as an on-site Bookkeeper with MNP, supporting clients through accurate financial processes.

This full-time Bookkeeper position supports MNP clients with bookkeeping and payroll functions. You will prepare records, maintain general ledger accounts, and assist with client files, budgets, and administrative planning. The role includes investigating discrepancies and communicating with governments about requests, assessments, and installments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions
• Prepare payroll remittances and related government filings
• Record sales, expenses, receivables, payables, and WCB transactions
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank activity
• Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions with supervisors

Requirements:

• One year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes
• Understanding of GST, PST, HST, payroll, and corporate taxes
• Cloud accounting software experience, including QBO or Xero, preferred
• Business administration or accounting certificate or diploma considered an asset
