Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Payroll specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accurate financial records, processing payroll efficiently, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help maintain the financial health of our organization by overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling accounts with precision. Duties

  • Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage accounts payable by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments
  • Handle accounts receivable by issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts
  • Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies
  • Conduct account analysis to monitor financial transactions and support budgeting efforts
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries to assist management in decision-making processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
  • Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and related compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable management
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting processes and account analysis techniques

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
