Branch Auditor

Insight Global is looking for a Branch Auditor for a 4-month contract in Calgary. This role is a net new position responsible for conducting operational audits across retail, distribution, and branch locations throughout the United States and Canada. The Branch Auditor will evaluate inventory controls, invoicing and receiving processes, regulatory compliance, and the accuracy of operational transactions. Responsibilities include managing audits from planning through reporting, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership, and tracking corrective action plans. This is a full-time role working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day on-site, with up to 40% travel required. The going rate for this position is $40-$50 per hour.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Compliance, Risk Management, Public Accounting, or a related area
• 3+ years of experience supporting retail operations
• Experience testing operational controls and business processes
• Strong organizational, planning, investigative, and execution skills
• Experience preparing audit workpapers, testing documentation, and reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to leadership
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Plusses:

• CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA, CFA, or similar professional certification
• Experience in agriculture, retail, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments
• Experience conducting inventory observations and field audits
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Power BI
• Previous branch administration experience in the U.S. or Canada
• Big 4 Risk Advisory or Internal Audit experience
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls testing
• Operational audit experience within manufacturing, retail, warehouse, distribution, or logistics organizations
• Inventory audit specialization
• Experience working within large-scale agricultural, distribution, or supply chain networks
