Built Asset Security Advisor

In this role you will advise clients and project teams on security risk across capital programmes in sectors such as life sciences, defence, datacentre and infrastructure. You’ll shape design and delivery by reviewing security elements, defining assurance throughout the lifecycle, and guiding architecture decisions. You will work with architects, engineers, and suppliers to identify and mitigate threats, contributing to Turner & Townsend’s growth and impact on high-profile programmes. This role offers a chance to influence security outcomes in the built environment at scale.

• Review security elements of capital programmes to ensure designs meet client requirements
• Define, document and assure security elements throughout delivery lifecycle
• Review and assure architecture, design and implementation to identify threats & risks
• Offer clear, structured guidance to strengthen security
• Participate in design assurance sessions to identify, manage and mitigate security risks

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to translate technical information for key stakeholders
• Experience as a subject matter expert within major projects/programmes
• Experience in design of counter terrorism and crime prevention measures in the built environment
• Demonstrable security experience or security qualifications applicable to your area of expertise
• Must hold, have held or be eligible for UK National Security Clearance
