Overview
In this role you will help translate business needs into precise data requirements to support Data Products. You work with Group Control Data & Analytics and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are viable, well-designed and embedded. You’ll contribute to data-driven decision making while upholding risk and governance. The role combines analysis, collaboration and change delivery within a cross-functional team to deliver measurable impact.
Responsibilities- Identify and analyze business problems and requirements needing change
- Develop business requirements addressing problems and opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet needs
- Support business case creation and feasibility studies
- Prepare progress reports to monitor on-time, on-budget delivery
- Design operating and process flows within project scope
- Assist change management with traceability and implementation
- Communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Bridge business requirements to precise data requirements for Data Products
- Support communications between Data & Analytics and the business
- Extract data requirements and prepare BRD/FR/NFR
- Excellent SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts
- Understanding of data models, ETL pipelines, and data lineage
- Knowledge of data products, business analysis techniques, and process design
- Ability to articulate business needs to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with SDLC and Agile delivery
- Experience owning data requirements from inception to sign-off
- Ability to perform feasibility assessments with high-level design thoughts
