Overview

In this Business Analyst role, you help drive the delivery of new features to a diverse customer base within a fast-growing, transformation-driven environment. You will work with the BA team to enhance the client onboarding journey, including registration, KYC, sanctions, and regulatory checks across regions. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. You will shape cross-functional solutions, monitor impact on client journeys, and support agile delivery to help CMC Markets stay at the forefront of innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with project stakeholders to lead analysis across strategic projects and platforms
  • Create high-quality user stories and translate them into technical requirements for development and QA
  • Assess impact of changes on the Client Onboarding journey and related processes
  • Manage and prioritize the development backlog for the team
  • Assist in acceptance testing and ongoing support for existing systems
  • Conduct impact analysis of requirement changes on Operations users and systems
  • Generate and monitor reports tracking performance and impact on client journeys
  • Ensure professional, high-quality service to customers and confidentiality
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the role
Key requirements
  • Proven BA experience in financial services on complex business and technical solutions
  • Excellent communicator capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and working with development teams
  • Experience with Agile practices including backlog management, prioritization, story refinement, and sprint planning
  • Experience in client onboarding, CRM, and sales domains
  • Strong ability to analyze and improve end-to-end user journeys across desktop and mobile
  • Proficiency with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Miro and Figma
  • Experience with collaboration tools like Teams; Miro as a collaboration platform
  • Knowledge of XML/JSON is desirable
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and the SDLC is desirable
  • Self-motivated with drive to push projects to completion
