Business Analyst Testing and Requirements

Lead business analysis and testing for Entrepreneurship Manitoba in Winnipeg, developing requirements, test cases, and clear defect communications. This is regular full-time public service work.

As a BA2 Business Analyst, you will support Manitoba’s public corporate registry within Consumer Protection. The work combines business requirements, system testing, issue investigation, website content, documentation, and change management. You will help deliver IT enhancements that meet client and staff needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Articulate business requirements and develop test cases
• Execute system testing and review testing issues
• Communicate defects and required resolutions to technical staff
• Investigate problems and escalate complex issues appropriately
• Maintain accurate website content and support documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in information communication technology or business analysis
• Experience facilitating dialogue to define business rules
• Experience investigating IT issues and solving problems
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
