Overview

As an Electronic Trading Business Analyst, you will lead stakeholder interactions and gather requirements to shape front-office trading solutions. You will map market models with exchanges, prioritise initiatives, and design messaging protocols to support low-latency electronic trading. Working across Risk, Price formation, and execution domains, you’ll validate requirements through development and QA, helping clients optimize trading platforms. This role combines consulting rigor with a deep understanding of FIX and latency-sensitive environments, in a London-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Lead key stakeholders and capture requirements through sessions and workshops
  • Engage with Exchanges/Trading Venues to understand market models and message details
  • Define and prioritise solutions for front-office electronic trading
  • Design and propose messaging protocol formats for trading systems
  • Validate requirements via development work and QA collaboration
Key requirements
  • 4-8 years of experience in buy-side, sell-side, vendor, or ECN roles
  • Experience across trading lifecycle components: risk management, price formation, tiering/distribution, execution, STP
  • Relevant market experience with Interdealer broker/Dealer client or single-dealer platform
  • FX asset classes: Spot/Forward/NDFs/Swaps/Options and/or related FI asset classes like cash bonds/derivatives/rates and credit/IRS
