Business Data Analyst SQL Calgary

Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division seeks a Business & Data Analyst for its Commerce Systems team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commerce Operations, you will support autonomy and positioning portfolio capabilities. The work connects sales, marketing, and technical teams through requirements, data analysis, reporting, and system changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements
• Translate requirements into clear, testable system requirements
• Develop complex SQL queries and investigate data issues
• Design reports aligned with business requirements
• Support UAT, validation, and change adoption

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business with supporting IS or technical project experience
• Minimum five years’ business analysis or related experience
• Strong SQL proficiency across multiple tables and reporting initiatives
• Experience eliciting and translating stakeholder and system requirements
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
