Overview

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you translate data into actionable insights to support strategic planning and performance across BioPhorum. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Finance, Client Services and Operations to build dashboards and analyze data, influencing decisions and growth. This role leverages modern Microsoft technologies within a growing data function, offering the chance to shape how data is used across the organization. You’ll work remote in the UK, contribute to impactful projects, and help drive data quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Build, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Analyse complex business data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
  • Develop robust data models using SQL, DAX and Power Query
  • Support business forecasting, KPI reporting and performance measurement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions
  • Improve data quality and maintain trusted reporting across the organisation
  • Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency
  • Present data and insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Key requirements
  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Excellent SQL skills for querying, transforming and analysing data
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query and data modelling
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes and reporting best practice
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and supporting self-service reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform or Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
