The Position: Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Documents, Records & Completions team on the Hinkley Point C project. This role will act as the central reporting specialist for the function, developing meaningful insights that support informed decision-making across the business. You will be responsible for creating robust reporting solutions, delivering high-quality management information, and establishing a trusted single source of truth for key performance data.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst will include:

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear and actionable business insights.
• Produce regular management information and performance reports for operational and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks to monitor business performance and support strategic objectives.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Improve data quality, governance and reporting consistency across the Documents, Records & Completions function.
• Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and accessibility of information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions.
• Provide expert advice and support on reporting best practice, data visualisation and performance measurement.

Preferred Profile

• Demonstrable experience developing Power BI dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
• Strong experience creating KPI frameworks, performance reporting and management information packs.
• Proven ability to analyse complex datasets and present findings in a clear and meaningful way.
• Experience implementing reporting automation and improving reporting efficiency.
• Strong understanding of data quality principles, governance and reporting controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience within major infrastructure, engineering, construction or capital project environments is desirable.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, such as nuclear, energy, defence or pharmaceuticals, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Document Control, Records Management, Quality Assurance or Completions processes would be beneficial.
