Job Description : Client is looking forBusiness Intelligence Analyst - Intermediate at Edmonton,Alberta

Must Have Primary Skills

• Bachelor degree inComputer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.
• Direct hands-onexperience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutionsthat transform regulated and complex datasets into actionable insights forpolicy, operations and executive reporting
• Direct hands-onexperience with a comprehensive set of visualization techniques and featuresthat demonstrate both technical depth and storytelling skill using Power Bi.
• Direct hands-onexperience in analyzing large complex datasets to perform trend analysis,predictive analytics, and forecasting using Power BI and Azure analyticstools
• Experience inpresenting and storytelling to effectively communicate data-driven insightsto executives and business users within a government organization.
• Experienceunderstanding and developing requirements for analytical projects.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills

• Direct hands-onexperience translating business requirements into analytical solutions andcommunicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders to deliver end to end BI solutions
• Experiencecombining raw data from a variety of data sources within and across domains.
• Experiencedealing with clients and explaining complex data principles in a thoughtfulmanner.
• Experiencedeveloping complex measures, calculated columns, advanced time intelligenceusing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power Bi
• Directhands-on experience in SQL for data transformations querying, and analyticalprocessing in large scale environments
• Experiencepreparing visualizations, dashboards, and analytical models
• Experience workingwith large government datasets.
