Overview
In this role you will own speed and cost metrics across Amazon's Same Day network in Europe, turning complex operational data into actionable insights. You will design and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and self-serve datasets used by operations, program, and finance teams. You will translate business questions into data models and measurable outcomes, supporting fast, data-driven decisions that impact same-day delivery. This position offers the chance to shape data products that scale with EU5 operations and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain ETL pipelines on Redshift to convert raw network events into trusted datasets
- Own reporting for speed and volume metrics from data source to executive dashboards
- Design and publish QuickSight dashboards and self-serve data products for partner-driven analysis
- Define and document standardized metrics for consistency across reviews and planning
- Investigate data anomalies, identify root causes, and communicate findings to technical and business audiences
- Collaborate with operations, program, and finance to translate questions into data models and outcomes
- Apply high engineering standards: version control, code reviews, monitoring, and deprecation of unused assets
- Experience analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages (R, SAS, Matlab)
- SQL proficiency and scripting in Python for data processing
