Overview
In this role you will turn business requirements into actionable analytics, building scalable reporting and automation to improve operational performance for Waitrose. You’ll partner with stakeholders to refine needs, develop automated data processes, and deliver insights that support decision-making across the operation. The role combines data engineering, analytics and continuous improvement to drive efficiency and better customer outcomes. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position in Milton Keynes with a clear impact on how we enable data-driven decisions.

- Partner with operational and functional stakeholders to gather, challenge and refine business requirements
- Create and maintain automated data processes and decision-support tools
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to ensure solutions remain relevant, user-friendly and aligned to business requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Experience translating business requirements into actionable analytics, dashboards and reporting solutions
- Strong data engineering, preparation and modelling skills across multiple data sources
