Business Intelligence Specialist Power BI

Power BI and data governance define this Business Intelligence Specialist opportunity with Defence Construction Canada, offered in a hybrid work model two days weekly.

The Specialist develops and sustains business intelligence activities supporting Project and Program Management. This continuing position requires analytics, reporting, SQL, data transformation logic, and governance knowledge. The work strengthens consistent service delivery, national quality management, and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop BI policies, procedures, tools, and guidance materials
• Support national quality management and quality assurance processes
• Establish data management best practices and performance indicators
• Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance nationally
• Manage risks and support government policy compliance

Requirements:

• University degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• Eight years of relevant experience required with minimum education
• Knowledge of Power BI, MS Fabric, SQL, and Azure integration
• Ability to resolve complex problems with multiple stakeholders
• Mandatory proficiency in both official languages
