Position Title: Business Systems Analyst – Senior

Duration: 6 months with extension & conversion to FTE

Location: Toronto- Hybrid (Thursdays and 4th Friday of the month onsite to client location)

Job Description

• Work closely with Business Partners to guide the formulation of complex solution requirements and participate in design discussions to meet project needs, with a focus on the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) application
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications specific to ICM processes
• Use tools like SQL and Excel to analyze compensation data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights related to incentive compensation
• Establish strong relationships with Business Partners, Colleagues, and Managers to foster collaboration and cooperative learning.
• Contribute to complex projects by designing strategic solutions aligned with Client’s enterprise architecture roadmap, especially those leveraging Varicent.

Must Have Requirements

• Hands‑on experience configuring, administering, and supporting Varicent ICM application.
• Experience or familiarity with Varicent ICM or other incentive compensation management platforms
• Understanding of incentive compensation processes, including rules configuration and workflow management
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting
• Strong documentation skills for business and technical requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have

• Accounting and Finance Knowledge - Familiarity with balance sheets, income statements, and financial principles
• Experience in Financial/Compensation Systems. Especially incentive compensation management solutions like Varicent ICM
• Experience with incentive plan modeling, calculation logic, and reporting within ICM platforms
