Overview

In this role you will own the Salesforce roadmap with a focus on real business value, automation and AI. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and an external delivery partner, translating needs into clear requirements and prioritising work accordingly. You’ll map processes, identify bottlenecks, and ensure changes deliver tangible outcomes while building internal knowledge to reduce dependency on external builders. This is a senior, impact-driven position with scope to shape AI adoption and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritise the Salesforce roadmap based on business value
  • Explain system goals and purposes clearly to stakeholders
  • Write concise requirements and user stories grounded in process understanding
  • Manage and refine the delivery partner's workload and sequencing
  • Follow through on changes to ensure effective adoption and problem resolution
  • Maintain a running list of automation/AI opportunities and rank by value
  • Transmit ideas to automation/engineering teams and stay involved through bed-in
  • Integrate AI into familiar tools to feel native to users
  • Analyze work flow across teams and flag inefficiencies
  • Document how processes work to preserve knowledge beyond individuals or suppliers
Key requirements
  • Experience managing a Salesforce or similar platform roadmap (BA/SA/PO)
  • Ability to translate needs from non-technical colleagues into buildable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to hold a delivery partner accountable and influence prioritisation
  • Strong sense of priority; ability to defer work not delivering value
  • Curiosity about AI-driven process improvement with sound judgement
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration/administration or quick learning ability
  • Natural inclination to document and share knowledge
  • Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
