This Software Developer role focuses on agent security and networking-related products. You will develop and maintain components, fix bugs, and research systems software across management, control, and data planes. Collaboration with DevOps and quality assurance supports high-quality, scheduled delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain components for current and future networking products Fix bugs in existing products through hands-on troubleshooting Research, optimize, and tune systems software Implement high-quality software features on schedule Collaborate closely with DevOps and quality assurance teams Requirements:
Strong C and C++ programming experience in Linux or Unix Good understanding of the TCP/IP network stack Familiarity with Linux kernel networking structures and packet flow Strong networking debugging and troubleshooting skills Canadian citizenship is required Apply networking software development, systems optimization, and debugging skills to Fortinet’s agent security products.
