C C++ Network Security Developer

Build C and C++ software for networking products at Fortinet, using Linux or Unix expertise and strong TCP/IP knowledge.

This Software Developer role focuses on agent security and networking-related products. You will develop and maintain components, fix bugs, and research systems software across management, control, and data planes. Collaboration with DevOps and quality assurance supports high-quality, scheduled delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain components for current and future networking products
• Fix bugs in existing products through hands-on troubleshooting
• Research, optimize, and tune systems software
• Implement high-quality software features on schedule
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and quality assurance teams

Requirements:

• Strong C and C++ programming experience in Linux or Unix
• Good understanding of the TCP/IP network stack
• Familiarity with Linux kernel networking structures and packet flow
• Strong networking debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Canadian citizenship is required
