Overview

In this role you will develop, integrate and optimise C/C++ software for 5G NR PHY algorithms. You will work with software, hardware, architecture and system-test teams to tackle performance challenges in a demanding environment. You will build reliable, high-performance software and contribute to automated testing and CI. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape robust 5G software and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop C/C++ software to run and test 5G NR PHY algorithms
  • Improve software performance via optimisation and multithreading
  • Integrate software components and resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and CI processes
  • Collaborate with hardware, architecture and system-test teams
  • Support interoperability testing with customers, vendors and operators
  • Contribute to technical reviews and broader software engineering decisions
Key requirements
  • Strong commercial experience in C or C++
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with multithreaded or high-performance software
  • Interest in solving complex performance and optimisation challenges
