Overview
In this role you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle for telecom-focused Customer Care and Billing products. You will design and implement customizations to revenue management components such as Mediation, Rating, Billing, Billing printing, and Provisioning, while ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust software solutions and support releases. - Understand customer and product requirements and current system functionality
- Design and develop customizations for revenue manager products (Mediation, Rating, Billing, Bill Printing, Provisioning)
- Make data model changes
- Conduct code reviews
- Support bug fixes
- Perform unit testing and assist testing teams
- Support build and release with additional instructions
- 5 to 15 years software development experience
- Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills
- Experience in C, Pro*C on Linux, shell scripting, RDBMS concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, XML
- Experience with Oracle 11+ DBMS
- Source control and debugging tools experience (Git preferred)
- Understanding of SDLC and software design and development
- Desirable Telecom domain knowledge and exposure to Mediation/Billing/Online Charging products
