Senior C# Developer
Location: Osterley, UK

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our engineering team based in Osterley . This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern, scalable applications using the latest technologies across backend, frontend, cloud, and DevOps. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and/or C# .
  • Build modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS .
  • Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices .
  • Design, optimize, and maintain database solutions using Oracle and Couchbase .
  • Implement and support event-driven architectures using messaging platforms such as Kafka , ActiveMQ , or AmazonMQ .
  • Monitor application health using observability tools, including logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong commercial experience with Java and/or C# (experience in both is highly desirable).
  • Strong frontend development experience with ReactJS .
  • Proven experience building and supporting REST APIs and microservices .
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Oracle and Couchbase .
  • Experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka , ActiveMQ , or AmazonMQ .
  • Good understanding of observability and monitoring tools, including Prometheus , Grafana , and AWS CloudWatch .
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Concourse , and Git-based development workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
