C# Developer

We’re hiring a C# Developer – Application Support on a fixed-term contract to support a business-critical internal investment application.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving an existing C#/.NET application, resolving production issues, delivering small enhancements and supporting the development of a new C# application from an existing design.

You’ll work closely with Investment, Technology, Risk and Operations teams, supporting both the application itself and related investment risk, data and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and support an existing C#/.NET application
• Investigate and resolve application and production issues
• Deliver enhancements and fixes across the existing codebase
• Develop a new C# application from a supplied design brief
• Work with SQL Server, Python and VBA across data, modelling and reporting requirements
• Support testing, releases, deployment and post-release checks
• Work directly with business users to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Maintain technical documentation and support handover activity
• Strong C# and .NET development experience
• Experience with Blazor and/or WPF
• GitHub and/or Azure DevOps
• Application support and troubleshooting experience
• Experience working with investment, portfolio, risk or performance data

Experience within investment management, pensions, asset management or another regulated financial environment would be highly advantageous.

Working pattern:

Hybrid – Monday plus one additional office day per week.
