Overview

In this role you will contribute to developing cutting-edge trading platforms for buy-side clients at a fintech software house. You will learn the fund market basics and platform technology, then progress to full platform and tool development with opportunities for client-facing work. The position sits close to the head of technology, offering exposure to risk tooling and greenfield initiatives. You’ll code in C++ on Windows, with Boost/STL familiarity appreciated, in a collaborative, relaxed team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from specification to production
  • Design, implement, deploy and maintain a greenfield platform
  • Create risk tools (C++)
  • Provide consultancy support as needed
Key requirements
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics
  • C++ with object-oriented design
  • Experience with Windows C++ development
  • Ideally familiarity with STL or Boost
  • Ideally SQL
  • 2 years of commercial development experience
  • Matlab
  • Ideally EU passport
  • Experience in C#/VB and SQL Server would be an advantage
