Overview

In this role you will contribute to a real-time market data platform, helping to design and deliver greenfield products for a leading fintech client. You will join a development team focused on scalable architecture, data feeds, and analytical tooling used by major banks and funds. The environment is fast-paced and Tech-driven, offering high-responsibility from day one and opportunities to work on cutting-edge trading data. You will be supported by a collaborative culture that values thoughtful decisions and high-quality code.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new feeds to databases and large datasets
  • Contribute to introducing a new architecture and building new products
  • Work on a real-time market data platform and data analysis tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on trading data and analytics
  • Participate in an Agile, TDD-influenced workflow
  • Gain experience with Docker and related tech in a fast-changing environment
Key requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • C# experience
  • Exposure to MQ messaging or WebSphere (or RabbitMQ)
  • SQL proficiency
  • Visual Studio experience
  • XML and XSLT knowledge
  • OO development patterns
  • Interest in TDD
  • Willingness to work with Docker
  • Experience with ASP.NET, WPF, WCF is a plus
