Overview

In this role you will build and enhance real-time trading systems as part of the trading engine team. You’ll collaborate with the strategy group on Greenfield projects and take ownership to deliver business impact. The role focuses on backend and API development, with some frontend work using JavaScript and React. You’ll work onsite in London, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance and reliability. This is a hands-on, growth‑minded opportunity at a global sports trading firm.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop real-time trading systems
  • Collaborate with the strategy team on Greenfield projects
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver business impact
  • Focus on backend and API development with some frontend work

  • Contribute to system reliability and performance
  • Work onsite in London, Monday to Friday
Key requirements
  • Strong C# .Net and ASP.Net development experience
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL or Oracle)
  • Comfortable with JavaScript / React
  • Solid CS fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms)
  • Collaborative with excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
