Overview

As a Software Engineer in a fast-growing prop trading environment, you design and implement high-performance trading software in C++ and Java. You’ll collaborate with research teams to build automated trading algorithms and expand the firm’s infrastructure and research platform for new exchanges and products. The role offers a tech-first culture with global teams, autonomy, and strong learning opportunities, including a relocation package to Amsterdam.

Responsibilities
  • Design, engineer and implement trading software in C++ and Java
  • Collaborate with research teams to architect and analyze automated trading algorithms
  • Build and maintain the firm’s software infrastructure to support multiple business lines
  • Expand the proprietary research platform to support new exchanges, products, and functionality
  • Work within a global, tech-driven team in Amsterdam as part of the Tech Ops group
Key requirements
  • 2–3 years of professional programming experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in C++ (preferred) or Java; knowledge of statically-typed imperative languages
  • Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem solving
  • Ability to work autonomously and across multiple layers of abstraction
  • Degree in mathematics, science, computer science, computer engineering, or physics (or substantial relevant experience)
  • Comfort with learning financial trading workflows and data flows (Bloomberg mentioned)
