C# Developer – Trading Platform

Overview

In this role you will contribute to a high-profile trading platform by delivering low-latency, high-quality C# code for a fast-paced financial services environment. You’ll work within a Scrum team to design and implement a greenfield platform and related risk tools, with opportunities to engage in client-facing work. The role supports desktop and web clients and may involve learning low-level C# alongside Java. You help shape scalable, reliable technology for front-office trading connectivity.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from specification to production
  • Design, implement, deploy and maintain a new greenfield platform
  • Develop low-latency connectivity
  • Create risk tools (C#)
  • Potential client-facing engagements if desired
Key requirements
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Maths, Stats or Physics
  • C# proficiency; OO programming
  • Commercial experience in a product development environment
  • SQL skills
  • Linux experience desired
  • EU passport desired
  • Experience in Java and SQL Server is a plus
