Overview

In this role you will contribute to the server-side of a high-performance trading platform used for real-time data, market access, risk management, and workflow automation. You join a skilled team within a technology-driven environment focused on low-latency, high-volume transactions across Equity and Fixed Income. You will deliver greenfield components and enhance low-latency connectivity, collaborating across development, testing, and production. The opportunity suits a senior developer aiming to deepen expertise in real-time trading systems within a relaxed, mature team. You will work on impactful, mission-critical software in a fast-moving domain.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in full development lifecycle from specification to production
  • Design, implement, deploy and maintain a greenfield platform
  • Develop low-latency connectivity
  • Deliver projects in new functional areas
Key requirements
  • C++ (willingness to learn via Java background)
  • OO
  • Experience with real-time applications
  • SQL
  • Unix
  • EU passport (ideally)
  • Knowledge of financial markets (equities or derivatives)
  • Java experience and finance industry exposure advantageous
