C# Developer – Trading Platform

Overview
In this role you will contribute to a high-profile trading platform by delivering low-latency, high-quality C# code for a fast-paced financial services environment. You’ll work within a Scrum team to design and implement a greenfield platform and related risk tools, with opportunities to engage in client-facing work. The role supports desktop and web clients and may involve learning low-level C# alongside Java. You help shape scalable, reliable technology for front-office trading connectivity.
Responsibilities- Participate in the full development lifecycle from specification to production
- Design, implement, deploy and maintain a new greenfield platform
- Develop low-latency connectivity
- Create risk tools (C#)
- Potential client-facing engagements if desired
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Maths, Stats or Physics
- C# proficiency; OO programming
- Commercial experience in a product development environment
- SQL skills
- Linux experience desired
- EU passport desired
- Experience in Java and SQL Server is a plus
