C++ Developer (Windows) – Risk Management

Overview

In this role you will work alongside the head of technology to build risk modelling platforms on Windows using C++. You will participate in the full software lifecycle, moving from learning the basics of risk modelling to developing greenfield platforms and risk tools. The position offers client-facing opportunities and the chance to contribute to a well-known financial software house. Based in Wimbledon, you will join a mature, relaxed team that values practical, high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Participate from specification through production to catch bugs early
  • Design, implement, deploy and maintain a greenfield platform
  • Create risk tools (C++)
  • Occasional client-facing communications
Key requirements
  • MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Physics
  • C++
  • Experience with Windows development
  • Ideally STL or BOOST
  • Ideally SQL
  • 2+ years commercial development experience
  • Experience with C#/Visual Basic and SQL Server would be advantageous
